When you hear the word Drone what do you think of? The first thing that comes to mind is an airplane device used to locate certain things or activities. I’m sure we are all familiar of what a drone is and how it can be used. With the increase in the use of drones it’s very important to have drone insurance. A drone can be called many different things, such as military craft, research tool and delivery robot. An average civilian looks at a drone as a high tech toy that can be used to capture some fantastic photos.

The drone has evolved from RC helicopters to what it is today known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Drones come in all different shapes and sizes and can include many different gadgets. Media outlets, magazine companies, government agencies, and military personnel all use drones to improve the way they do business. Just because these professional companies are using drones doesn’t mean the average citizens can’t. In fact the use of drones are growing more and more each year, and more companies are making drones available to the average citizen.
